Every Friday we go to Music in the middle block. We LOVE IT and each week it is different. We sing action songs, play musical instruments and watch singing videos to learn the words. Some videos show us the chords to play.

Writing - Leaf

Leaf - Sketch and Writing

Last week we took a walk around the school and found fallen leaves outside the library. We had rich oral discussion about the description of their leaf and what it looks like. We then returned to class to sketch our natural treasure, the leaf, and label it. Students wrote about it and took a photo of their writing. They then published their writing completely by themselves, using the App PicCollage on the iPads. Here is their work...

Swimming Lessons

Room H14 started swimming lessons this week with Skillz4life Swim School. We swim everyday for 8 days, first thing at 9am. It's the one time you can come to school in your togs! ha ha
